I am finishing up a basement theater in our new house and have some what will no doubt sound like stupid questions. My front projector is a BenQ PE8720 and my screen is a Stewart firehawk 110". 5.1 Audio is B&K with Martin Logan front/center speakers, Velodyne sub and Speakcraft Aim7 rears. I plan to buy a blu ray player eventually (that's one question: which player right now is best bang for the buck?) but will start off with my old Sony 720p. The projector has only one HDMI input. I plan to use the component video output from the Dish/Direct TV tuner. I figure with a 720p projector using the comp. video from the satellite tuner should be ok. Of course with the new blu ray player I would utilize the one HDMI input I have on the front proj. Would it be smart to buy a HDMI switcher so I could utilize the HDMI output from the satellite tuner?? Sorry for the rambling. Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
