480i to 1080p: closing the gap

Posted by Joe Murphy Jr on March 9, 2008 at 21:00:51:

2 HDMI inputs, 1 component input, 1 composite/S-video input and the HQV Realta 10-bit video processor -- all in one box: the Gefen TV Scaler Pro for $699 in April.

Still have a laserdisc collection? This box will convert the analog output to 480i digital, deinterlace to 480p and then scale to 1080p. Want your DVDs to get as close to Blu-ray as possible? Feed the HDMI input with 480i and it will deinterlace and scale to 1080p using one of the best video processing chips on the market.
