Front projection set up

Posted by dbphd on April 2, 2008 at 02:31:16:

Can anyone recommend a reference for a novice who wants to install a front projector? I'm thinking of a Sony VPL 50 or 60 projecting onto a 92" 16 x 9 fixed screen, most likely a Stewart FireHawk or StudioTek. Viewing distance would be about 11'. Ceiling height is 8'. I need to know how to hang the unit from the ceiling and so forth, real nuts and bolts stuff, not theory.
