Maybe it'll revert back to small mom and pop video rental stores. :) Yeah I know, never gonna happen.
For me renting from hard copy mail-in places is a definite no. I rarely have an idea when I'm going to take the time to rent/watch a movie. It just usually happens. So to plan a movie rental by having one sent to me, not gonna work.
Being forced to have a PC in my HT room... not a good thought. The future is grim perhaps for old folks like me.
I guess there's (in my case Shaw) cable providers, renting a movie through my cable box. Or is that what you mean by streaming? Yes, I'm that old. :)
As for banking, I've been doing the majority of mine online for as long as it's been available.
