Netflix price changes and new plans
Posted by Condorsat on July 13, 2011 at 07:01:28:
Just received e-mail that Netflix is changing their price structure:
They are splitting streaming and DVD/Blue Ray to separate plans.
Plan 1: Unlimited Streaming (no DVDs) for $7.99 a month
Plan 2: Unlimited DVDs (including Blu-ray), 1 out at-a-time (no streaming)
for $9.99 a month
Your price for getting both of these plans will be $17.98 a month ($7.99 + $9.99)
In my case ... since I've downloaded a grand total of 1 movie this year ... I'll be switching to the DVD/Blue Ray Plan.
If their plan was to make more money ... it won't happen from me.
