What do you do with all your cables from 40 years of hi-fi?

Posted by petew on October 3, 2011 at 19:11:20:

I have a closet that has just cables in it.
Every kind of cable, at every price point.

Yes I sold a bunch of my Six Nines Kimber Silver cables when the precious metals prices peaked....but what do I do with all the copper stuff? I guess I have a few thousand bucks worth at wholesale = $4 /lb.
But that's a lot of work stripping all those wires... and cutting off the terminations.

Boxes and boxes of magic wires.

Surely I can't be the only one caught left holding ?

How did you guys get rid of all the crap in your wire boxes?
