Interesting website with 'screen size to distance' calculator
Posted by mbnx01 on December 12, 2011 at 20:12:39:
I sit 10 feet back from my tv. Amazon.com says I can get anything from a 40" to an 80" tv.
That is pretty crazy, they're obviously just selling tv's.
Here's a site with a much more conservative 'size/distance' calculator. For example, they say a 46" tv is best viewed from 11.5 feet.
These screen-size/distance calculators usually put you much closer to a bigger screen.
I'm thinking maybe this is more accurate, anyone else have any thoughts on this?
