Disconnect the oppo and the SONY players from the iScan. With the iScan connected to the Cary and the Cary connected to the projector (all via HDMI), see if you can get the menu from the iScan to display on the screen. If not, connect the iScan to the Cary's other HDMI input and try it again.
If you don't see the menu in either setup, either the iScan or the Cary may have had a setting changed or are having a problem. You might also try unplugging and plugging back in all connections, just in case. I'm sure you know that electronics are stupid like that.
Silly question, but does the SONY's HDMI output send video (other than a black signal) or just audio? Doesn't the oppo have a second HDMI output that's dedicated to audio (and thus may only have a black signal present)?
