RE: a different route

Posted by dbphd on January 21, 2013 at 14:25:46:

Joe, I'm really getting frustrated.

I disconnected the HD-DVR and Oppo, and was able to display the iScan menu with the projector. I made sure input was set to auto (seeks the active source) and the output set to AV1. I plugged the HD-DVR in; both video and audio reappeared. I plugged the Oppo in; both video and audio disappeared with either source. I again unplugged both the HD-DVR and Oppo, but was unable to bring up the menu on the screen. I then connected the HD-DVR directly to the Cary; the result was audio but no video. I connected the Oppo directly to the Cary; the result was neither audio nor video. I've ordered one of the little switches to which you kindly provided a link, but if a direct connection doesn't work neither will that.
