Not only is price a factor, there are several problems that still need to be addressed before OLED can really compete. For now, the blue pixels don't last very long. The small Sony panels had output levels in the blue pixels drop 12% in one year. Not sure of the new ones by LG or Samsung, but there is still much to be done with the technology.
