Ease of use -dvd players

Posted by gonzo on February 21, 2014 at 16:35:14:

I am not technically sophisticated. I have been reading reviews of lots of different dvd or combined blue ray / dvd players. People occasionally mention some frustration with the remote control units and occasionally the video interface and ease of use. I am assuming that most anything I get will have a good image, but for someone that will only be using this as a player, no internet hook up, no wifi etc, which ones are the easiest to use. Which ones have remotes that don't have to be laser locked! on the unit to use. I am looking for a good unit that will do most of the selection of different disc material without requiring the user-ME! to have to do very much. Any personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks .
