Need avr 1611 help

Posted by MoJoejoJoe on May 2, 2014 at 17:28:14:

I have an avr 1611. 5 monster speakers and klipsch 42 II rears that I just installed. But it doesn't sound like I'm getting 7.1 surround. The rear speakers don't seem to be adding to any movies. I plugged in the mic and reset the speakers, but my surround still doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's just because I'm watching dtv. I've yet to try it out with bluray. Any advice out there?
