Subwoofer problem!!!!

Posted by jimbill on November 26, 2016 at 16:25:30:

Neighbor bought a used Revel B12 subwoofer off of Audiogon. Was working fine for the last week.

He bought a new Samsung Blu-ray player from Sam's. It started cutting out so he took it back and got a new one.

Now the subwoofer isn't getting a signal from either the TV or the CD player. Red light, standby mode, is all that is on. We switched out the RCA cables and still only red light.

Everything is run through a new Sony STRDN1060 7.1 receiver. Could it be the cause? Is there some setting he may have accidentally clicked?

When we run the calibration test through the receiver the subwoofer shows on the screen, just no sound.
