How do I stop my Bravia XBR6 from switching from HDMI input when turned on ?

Posted by Old SteveA on December 11, 2017 at 05:33:01:

I can't remember what I did to stop this TV from switching to the TV Guide setup screen (which is not being used) whenever I turn on the TV. With the Xfinity X1 remote.

It's not really a big deal but it's kind of a PITA when my elderly father wants to just turn on his TV & just watch his Sports programs from Comcast & he can't navigate the Logitech remote to switch to the HDMI input that the X1 platform is using (I misplaced the XBr remote & the Logitech remote is not "Senior Friendly"

Thanks
