Saw this yesterday. I really liked it. A wild ride. I can't know what the writers, director and actors were on, but I recommend a couple gummies if you're just a viewer. Anyone else here seen it? I have only been to one other film in the last couple years. For this matinee, I was one of maybe 5-6 people in the theater. It was a heartwarming action comedy fantasy family flick, I suppose you could call it. Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) leads the cast. Very trippy story. I recommend it if you can tolerate crazy pretty well.
To me, it became tiresome after forty-five minutes. I do admire the creativity it took to write and edit the film into organized chaos. But, cinematic chaos becomes numbing, especially with the overly long run.
Indeed, I saw it. Like many newer films, it greatly could have benefited from major editing--- it was 2 hours and 20 minutes L O N G.
How many martial arts' fights?
If the "All at Once" part was a little more adhered to, if it were perhaps 1: 45 minutes...
I saw it in a theater, also quite empty. It may be more suitable at home where one can fall asleep from the receptiveness and then wake up, get a refreshment, and wade back in. You probably won't miss much because it'll recycle, again.
