One of the weirdest movies I have seen. If it was not for the brief lesbian scenes I would have been completely disappointed in wasting over two hours of my life. Perhaps I just don't "get" David Lynch - I never understood the point of "Twin Peaks" either.BTW, who was the girl who sang in Spanish at the club?? Fabulous voice even though I only understood about 10% of what she was singing (sorry Ms. Zale - apparently my 4yrs of HS Spanish were wasted). I was still moved by the performance.

The movie was weird... I think He wrote the story line from a dream he had... I was waiting for everything to pull together, but it never really did... it got close though. The movie was 100% lynchy. It needed a toutch of the coen brothers. The best part of the movie was when the two men went behind the diner and saw the STRANGE MAN!

Many people have tried to make sense of the "Mulholland" storyline. Personally, I don't think that there is any purpose in trying to solve this possible. Why?Lynch made "Lost Highway" and in the middle of that he CHANGED the lead character -- completely changed him! All kinds of people read into that and interpreted it and came up with all sorts of explanations for it. However, in a Lynch interview he simply admitted he did it to do it and there was no real reason! I think MD is the same.
