I was talking with my spouse tonight about going to the movies, especially in our younger days. We were discussing what was so neat about movies in the before time and then it dawned on us what we missed. It's the cartoon before each the main film. Maybe one preview in between and then on with the show we came to see. No concession advertisements, no multi preview clips at volume levels that numbed our ears before the main attraction. Retro, yes. Better, absolutely.drobo

... those annoying "lifted directly from television" car commercials, army/marine recruiting propaganda, short films (supposedly "winners" of a contest) that are thinly disguised Coke or Pepsi ads, theatre chain ads, local ads, etc., ...all that stuff should GO, in my considered opinion!AuPh
