Actually, she have looks more like a man...I say in the desert of today film landscape, this one is of the majors, certainly the best of the year.Point blank.
There is a song ( a terrible old one ) who is a monument of kitsch, that did find grace to my intellectualisme ( have I one ? ) The interpreter made a tour de force....
So- I say it is good. And I am not afraid of beeing mixed emotionally with the cleaning lady next door as there are universally emotions that we---all share...
Almodovar has made a pretty good film with Talk To Her. He seems to have, dare I say it, experienced some personal growth. This films has a dimension lacking in much of his previous, self-consciously clever films.
Even the " too Spanish " side of this film, can easily be forgiven...
And, I should add the music is very good, indeed !
