The niece was hopped up on diet pills[with all the psychological consequences]. But it was a good summer, overall.I can't tell you much about the famous aunt, but I remember that there was some animosity between her and the family.

Regarding the movie... there are three stories, done in a very strange, almost artificial way, with crazy dialogues and situations, characters that seem to be drawn by a mental patient, but still quite real.
If you are curious about it, I suggest you don't go check it on imdb, as it contains spoilers there. Better just gulp it with your eyes wide shut!
