I agree that the effects and all that were pretty good. Supposedly the sound quality was also decent and was the first use of Dolby EX.
However, sounds more and more like the Wild Wild West if all that you can say about Stars Wars 1 is that the special effects were cool.

Yes it did sound good. Actually it was very impressive.
I skipped the Wild Wild West. I could tell from the previews it was going to suck.
