Naw, I think Murray was perfect for that part.
I believe the "Mooks" name in the flick was Harold. Who played that part. He did a good job too.

Thought some more(smell smoke?)Deniro would be to intimidating as the mobster unless cast across David Caruso. I couldn't believe Murray taking him on and living,so reversing doesn't work either.I felt the ingredients where there just out of order IMO.Picture Mike Starr vs Bill Murray as sidekick cop.
