  I also liked "Lonely Guy", a lesser known early movie by steve martin. However, I think his best movie is "LA Story".

      The movie was especially good for those of us who lived in LA at the times because it was a dead-on characterization of life there.

      When I first saw The Jerk those two lines cracked me up. To this very day I sometimes laugh when driving by an older gas station out in the sticks.

      I saw Black Hawk Down in the theater and couldn't contain my laughter. I laughed right through the poor ranger convulsing on the ground after having watched his "favorite part". I felt bad but couldn't help myself ;)
