Some words to close my thoughts on this film, and certainly not not to start a new polemic!
Critics are constructive and necessary in every democracy. But Mr. Moore film is like an Mc.Donald hamburger, not one home grown, but an industrial one. A film of missed opportunities. In fact Mr. Moore look like someone nice with kind words but in reality he is too angry inside himself to have humor and his pseudo candor is just hypocrisis. He is very mean and his temper is full of rage & hate and this makes his report so bias as one of the baddest pamphlet I have ever seen or read. And worst it is....Boring.
A boring shame.

Follow Ups:
Perhaps but you're a more boring poster. Lots of big words you try and infuse inyour post but say nothing about the film. In University we learn to back up an argument with a fact. You call it biased How? You call him angry - well he should be he has things to be angry about. Maybe if the French were angry they would have lifted a finger to stop the Nazis - maybe if Americans were angry(they are) at the right things they would not get walked all over and sold a bill of goods which is the "American Dream" the biggest order of aluminium siding ever sold to a nation of flag waving Nationalists who have no idea what it is they are supporting or any real concept of what Democracy or freedom really is. It has been turned into mere buzz words and if said over and over and over and you get a dose at birth over and over you are brainwashed.I like most Americans I have met - I think it has the potential to be a great country - it isn't it's not close and contrary to popular belief Socialism is not Satan - Capitalism walks a close line to Fascism --- and you don't know it until it's too late. The US has crossed the line now with a choice between two corporate handpicked individuals running for the presidency
- like the Alien VS Predator tag line "Whoever Wins, We Lose."

...with folks like that, there is a still hope!

Quite true. Too bad all the good folks aren't the one's running for office - but hey that's generally true of all countries. You have to be a slime bucket to get power - honest politicians - well the ones who seem it are just the best crooks.

I am glad you told us so much about this film.

I am convined that Micheal Moore would rather make films as entertainment (drama/adventure/comedy..whatever) , as opposed to "documentries" pointing out all the bad & negative aspects of life.
Problem is (for him)...he has no talent what-so-ever as a filmmaker,he knows he is a zero....a sucsessful & admired zero...but a zero nonetheless. So, all he can do, knows how to do...is make films which rant that witch pisses him off.To sum it all up....when you are fat ugly & semi-talented in the land of oz......you become political & an activist if only to ensure your place on the yellow brick road.
C'mon now ...if Mr Moore could date Paris Hilton, he'd become the most un-angry man on the planet. He'd get REAL nice to EVERYone.
(so would I come to think of it.)

Sorry if I didn't get the spelling quite right, but I'm pretty sure you'll get the idea. Victor would probably say the same thing in four letters (he's apparently a connoisseur of that one word), but out of concern for endangered NZ feces I wanted to provide a more international flavor to your aviary quisine. We disagree completely on Fahrenheit 9/11; you have every right not to like it, but as a Smirk supporter your bias spews forth in a very vitriolic fashion and has obviously poisoned your perception of the film. The humor (i.e., Moore's sardonic wit) is THERE, you just don't appreciate it. As for Michael Moore being angry, yes, there may actually be anger seething beneath the surface of his sarcasm, but it is subtle, always tinged with irony. BTW, many of us over here share his disdain of the Bush Administration, and the fact that Mr. Moore was able to capture that temperament only testifies to the brilliance of his film.
Now that I've had "my say" on "your say" perhaps we can all rest more comfortably. ;^)
Madame Defarge was clearly written from you.

Personally, I'd rather observe from the sidelines than be a cutting edge aristocrat. ;^)

You are a disgrace, not only it is grammatically wrong( For this one word you could have make some effort ) but more it shows the low estime you give persons who are not of your raping opinion.
You see, that is all.
![]()
Don't expect sympathy from me when you're obviously trolling. Everyone here already knew your viewpoint on this film; caveats aside, there's no reason to rehash it again unless you're trying to inflame partisan opinions. BTW, since you and Victor are in your familiar "guises" again, should I refer to you as Robin? ;^)
I like guys who hides behind" Everybody "....

;^)Seriously, let's just say "anyone who's been frequenting this board awhile knows your opinion of Michael Moore and F9/11" then! Do you like that better or do I need to post the search engine logs to prove it?
Proves it. I hope it does annoy you...
Are starting to speak from your self with " Il " instead of " Je "....
NOW, start your homework....

He learned that in the kindergarten, when he had to defend his toys and his sand castle, and he still feels life is playing in sand with other naughty boys.I really think he is the only one here with such bad manners. Others are able to separate the movies from people, but this one always attacks the person.

Decent people consider dragging the professional affiliations into such discussion beneath their dignity... but not you.

...but it's not surprising that you'ld draw the wrong inference as long as it suits your purpose (i.e., FYI, you use a flying "bat" symbol in your posts and you & Patrick team up like a caricature of the dynamic duo a'la Joel Schumaker era to fight for Bush's Justices and the Amerikan way; it seemed like an obvious analogy, but perhaps Don Quixote would provide a better one!).

Suggestion for the sequel's title: "Batman & Robin: Men in Tights" ;^)
You should live up to your expectation.
Do you like dressing up in robes? Tell us and donīt worry we love all people...

Sheeeeesh! I guess humor will have to be off your menu until you get over your alergy to it.

Your robe remark makes no sense whatsoever without a specific film reference, but by your reaction I suspect that my sarcasm has hit it's mark; let's just leave it at that, shall we?AuPh

You've flogged this particular subject to death. You don't like Michael Moore. So what? You should be comforted by the fact that, despite the Michael Moores of the world, Bush is going to win the election this fall. By hook or by crook.

'The Passion' is coming out this week. Maybe that will satisfy your need for objectivity and great cinematic art.
I can not follow you. Whas has this film ( Passion ) to do with Fahrenheit?
Sorry I am lost....
Worse, I do not intend to see Gibson brutal epic.

...the "Gunsmoke"/"Smoke 'em out" bit was funny? Everyone in the theater I was at laughed.Maybe it's the people who post to this forum who have humor problems, not Moore.

'He is very mean and his temper is full of rage & hate and this makes his report so bias as one of the baddest pamphlet I have ever seen or read. And worst it is....Boring.'
Michael Moore is the equivalent of Rush Limbaugh, one for the left, one for the right. One works in film, the other in radio.I find Limbaugh to be all of these things listed above, mean and hateful, and biased.
***The only thing I fail to see is the uproar. You just came to this country? They tried to kill his show... many times. Still are.

![]()
Well, as living in Europe I can not comment on Mr. Limbaugh as I know him only as a name...But trust me if he does such a bad film as Mr. Moore I wonīt go in hiding!
Why should I?
