Wow, I really wanted to like this film. I tried real hard, too. I'm giving it 2.75 out of 5 with 3 being OK.

Started out good with Kingsley doing his mean-ass self. Eckhart and Moss supported well but the ensemble couldn't overcome the editing of the story. About 1/3 of the way through I felt as if I had dropped a 700 page novel and lost my place. Feverishly thumbing through it to find my page-but to no avail.

If you hit the bargain matinee see Hero, at least it's pretty.
