Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson team up as a couple of basketball hustlers in Los Angeles who team up ater harrelson defeats Snipes in a pickup game. This is avery colorful film with excellent two man hoop sequences. I assume it's on DVD but my copy is the widescreen laserdisc.

Follow Ups:
I thought it was a good movie. More importantly, I thought it was a good handling and approach of presenting problematic situations. It's been awhile since I viewed it, but the story line that sticks with me are relationship issues, which related to how they dealt with the lives they made and what they were born into. Did I miss the point, was it supposed to be funny? I think I'll have to watch it again.

It's just that some of the comments and insults are hilarious and very clever.

Thanks rico. I do remember the street and b-ball court speak was as competitive as the physical play. I always equate the words used in these situations as tools to maintain leverage or promote dominance. Analytically, always more insightful than funny. Are you sure I didn't miss the point? Too serious or deep maybe? I'll try to see it again soon.

That is a funny one indeed! Even Rosie Perez is good and I usually find her to be quite annoying.Speaking of Harrelson, I just watched Kingpin (with Woody and Dennis Quaid) over the weekend. I hadn't seen it in a couple years and I still found it very funny.
