This is one of those over the top films like "Air Force One" or "Runaway Jury" where the splot and story are so implausible but the movie is so much fun that you let yourself go and just enjoy it.
Nicholas Cage stars as an archaeologist hunting for clues to a 2000 year old treasure buried by some of our founding fathers who were Freemasons. Each clue leads to another. The whole thing is very much like "The da Vinci Code" and along the way you learn little tidbits about U.S. history and how the country preserves and protects it most precious documents. Harvey Keitel in a supporting roile iis an FBI honcho. Lots opf chases and shoot 'em ups and explosions and filmed in a number of cities.

PG rating and heard it may be acceptable for family viewing, in an “Indiana Jones” style. True? How young was the audience? TIA

I saw it at a morning matinee and there were only three other people in the audience. Yes, it is sort of an "Indiana Jones" movie.
