No Oscars in the cards for this one. BUT- a decent family movie that is entertaining and plays off of current conspiracy theories/suspicions regarding the Masons.
We enjoyed it, but Nicholas Cage was not that believable as the main character. Also noted several references to the Indiana Jones movies.

the number of people waiting in line! It's showing on three screens in my town. Not many waiting to see "Alexander."
I thought "National Treasure" a good escapist entertainment. I have no problem with Cage in the lead and think Sean Bean makes a good villian. I'll give it a solid *** (three stars).
