Does RE2 draw from and add to the first? I fast forwarded through the original and only stopped to the watch the slice and dice action in the final corridor before the computer room. I might have to watch this one again. I agree, redeeming value is not always necessary.

I liked RE2 better than RE1, but I do recommend seeing the first one before going on with second. The second one's story starts where first one's ends and builds upon the story, but just bigger, louder, more fun.
