As Larry David's ongoing antagonist in Curb Your Enthusiasm last season.
And in Flirting with Disaster he plays a genuinely sweet guy enmeshed in the gears of a weird life. The last fifteen minutes feature Lily Tomlin, Alan Alda (whom I can definitely do without otherwise) and others in one of the most hilarious segments ever filmed, worthy of the Marx Brothers.
But basically I can't stand the guy.

Yes, Flirting with Disaster was very funny. While I had a hard time getting through the first 1/3 of the movie, once they got to the hippie house it really was hilarious.
