but I gotta say I liked this movie. What I admired most was how the director could take a little tiny village with a few buildings and turn into a story. Hell people in Hollywood can't seem to do that with $100 million! So give them some credit. Beside thae girl never acted before and maybe never even saw a movie I don't know.

I understand it was all filmed right in New Zealand with real whales but I don't know for sure.
