Agreed it was a little gem. Many things struck me about this film, one being the immenseness of the Australian desert- which I always knew about of course but this movie really brought it home.
The astonishing turn of events three quarters of the way through was quite a surprise to say the least and nothing like any Hollywood movie for sure.

That was my thought exactly. I kept waiting for the punchline "only joking", and it never came.
