I agree...from top to bottom, AMC has been "dumbed-down" in the worst, lowest-common-denominator way. Despite losing access to the MGM/Warners/RKO and 20th Century Fox libraries, they could have still made a go of it with the Paramount and Columbia libraries. They might even have taken a closer look at independent films made in the late 50s and early-to-mid 60s. But AMC chose to go in a different direction, and we see the results!

The idea that AMC's ratings are higher than ever...Jim Aubrey would be proud.
