    I haven't heard about the new one.
    I love north american independant films like :
    'Suspicious River' - hard but very good.
    'I Am Josh Polonski's Brother' - excellent NY film.
    'Sue' by Amos Lolleck with the amazing Anna Thompson....
    'Judy Berlin' by Eric Mendelsohn, kind of Woody Allen style.
