Just flipped through a stack of laser discs and found this one; I searched here but theres been no discussion of this film archived
Search of the Net suggests its a cult classic
Opinions? Worth having?

Saw this a while ago but I do remember that the very extended rape scene of Jennifer Jason Leigh was excruiciatingly difficult to watch. You gotta have a strong stomache for that scene. Very depressing movie.

A very dark and depressing picture. I doubt you would want to see it more than once.

Same author as Requim for a Dream & the books are much better. IMHO Requim is a much better movie than LETB. - PdL 03:15:28 03/09/05 (1)
Although I thought the movie Requim kinda sucked .... but Jennifer Connely is always easy on the eyes!

  which was awesome (the whole cast were good) but the film was SOOOO depressing...
