...Hud, Cool Hand Luke, the T. Williams adaptations and The Verdict all contain great Newman performances.
I find Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid unwatchable.
I love Newman in some of his later stuff - Sully Sullivan in Nobody's Fool and the gangster chief John Rooney in Road To Perdition.
