John Ford´s solid craftsman film. Like a watchmaker. On the too romantic side, but of high value, marvellously played by Henry Fonda, it is all about of the spirit of the USA and all loving people for truth and justice.
Who could have bring it more strongly than an Irishman....
too well-meaning, too earnest...and then there's the matter of his curious speech: Not quite a lisp but not very "manly."
