Did anyone like this film? It had some intrigue initially as I had no prior knowlege of what to expect, but then just became dark, dull and barely enough to keep you hanging-on to see what might be made of it. I was attracted by yet another dramatic or dark role (from the cover appearance) for Robin Williams. He was really creepy in this one, but not as good as I had hoped. I mean that his character and the story was creepy, but it just never was portrayed effectively.

Follow Ups:
I never heard much about it until I Netflixed it. It seems this project was a real sales coup d'etat to a studio. Even with the acting talent on hand the story really did not merit our time. Williams' best work, IMO, is still "One Hour Photo".
is the reason that I picked this title up. I was curious about Williams taking dramtic roles and how he would appear as a villain, etc. I enjoyed "Jumanji" in which he took the same name "Alan".
