First a salute to the enormous amount of professionality of the photography and directing in every possible way to this film.
That said I think that this film is like HH monster plane who could never really take off and crashed after a few miles. Just too heavy.
DiCaprio look like James Dean in " East of Eden " but the last never looked like Carl Trask so never did Leonardo like HH.
BUT still he tried to mimic him and that has some charms. He is quite a nice actor in his range, and I would not dismiss him has having no potential to still growning further.
If you love the gosship of cinema and all the allusion behing the scenes, you won�t lose your time either.
Mr. Scorcese knows it all.
Absolutely worth a look as a monsterous curiosity.
