Both movies did nothing for me.
On the other hand, I don't care what an actor does outside of acting. What TC says about religion is completely irrelevant to me. Just because someone is a famous actor, does not mean he has anything to say of interest on any other topic.

Rain Man had a kind of synergy between the two actors if I remember, well it was a long time ago!
I though that he my give an actor.
Well Kubrick choose him also... maybe more like a cusiosity under the microscope of his camera?
For me it is relevant because I do not like at all the way of manipulating the press and also we, the people.

  ...and it works when that flaw is explored. In Eyes Wide Shut, it was his view of sexuality that was shallow. In WoTW, it was his irresponsibility.

    Your guess.
    I think Kubrick was a dark angel for both actors marriage, not that he did do something what would have end their union, no just hasten the end of it.
    But who knows...
