The young Bergman, already a master, fashioned an underrated masterpiece which, like the greatest of comedies, also has some serious things to say.
His ensemble, as usual, is flawless.
An excellent movie to view with one's beloved.
This is the kind of movie Woody Allen strove his entire life to make... unsuccessfully.
