  I can get anything from overseas in the greater NYC-area in a few specialty shops.

  I do agree with your point though.

  BTW - found a small but rather decent mom-pop place in Tenafly, NJ (a block from my daughter's Yeshiva) that carries only Korean/Japanese films, and my local Indian grocery store in Teaneck has all of the newest titles from India on DVD.

  Amazon is also really good.

    CHEAP. I pay something like 12.99 for unlimited films, though I can't have more than two at a time. One of their "feeder" stores is nearby so it my returns arrive same day and new one mailed out same day, too. Can't beat 20 movies a month for that price...
