I use this asylum to scout for obscure, but good movies. Rented this one as a result. Holy Cow!! This may be one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. By the way...this is not a recommendation. If you gave me one hour to write a brief review it would contain one word.....weird! I'm still bothered by the dancing scene in the bar.

And I wouldn't recommend it but it was a send up of the 70's horror genre. I was intrigued that the film stock made it look 70's. IIRC, in the bonus material the director was most impressed with Tobe Hooper and the "chainsaw" style. When things started going bad it only got worse a'la "chainsaw" style.
