I didn't mean, of course, that it was JUST clever but satires are by nature, clever. Is not Jonathan Swifts's, "A Modest Proposal," exceedingly so?

...I realize that others don't necessary view the concept of "cleverness" as I do. To me it's superficial and simulates real intelligence with trickery. But that's just me. I really didn't mean anything serious by it.
