  Seriously, looking at them objectively, I don't see how you could describe the Jurassic Park series as overrated. Overhyped (i.e., as in advertised out the wazoo) maybe, but as big budget action/thrillers go the JP series delivers as promised. So, describing them as overrated is a bit disingenuous, don't you think? Perhaps dinos just aren't your cup-o-tea.

  I've never even heard of "The Yards" so it's definitely not overhyped, but I have no idea how it rates either. At any rate (grin), I'll check this film out when the opportunity arises.

    I guess I'm not a great Dinasaur/Speilberg fan, you're right!
    I don't know if 'The Yards' is really the most underrated film, probably not, but I enjoyed it's sombre, almost slow, moody feel.
