He is such a sucker for British accent - if he can understand more than one word in a sentence, he breaks the DVD.

I draw the line at two.
- We always use the "hearing impaired" subs on English material. The higher up, the more the diction - tinear 11:18:12 07/12/12 (1)
  is swallowed.
  My Dad sat next to a guy on a flight to England; he couldn't understand a word the guy said. Upon landing, the stewardess thanked Lord Something for flying with them. Dad said the guy talked as if his mouth were full of oatmeal.

    Clarity much improves, and I am able to get most of the dialog. Then it becomes my wife's turn to ask "What did she say?" - usually she hears better than I do.
