Lohan? Not so much, but she's not hard to look at as long as you don't expect to see EIizabeth Taylor. Face it. She was irreplaceable, so it ain't fair to hold that standard.
Grant Bowler on the other hand, did a great job of being Richard Burton. His voice and mannerisms were well done.
Where this TV movie loses out is in the script and direction. It's all a little superficial in the telling, but this is a replica of a period piece about the last of old Hollywood. More than the story of these two icons, who were a little too large in their own lives, this is a story about an old dying way of life in the movie industry.
It's not as bad as the critics made it out to be. As history (and biography), this flick has a lot of interesting moments. Lohan shines in her scenes as a vamp. She was made for those. The other moments, not really.
I did too. I have low expectations based on the reviews. Much better than I expected. Bowler was excellent.

You'll have to sit thru a 30 second commercial since this is NBC official crap, but about half way thru the video they show that Dick is Dead segment and then pan over to Kathy Lee and Hoda's faces. I saw it live and about cracked up.
