...like a colorful CGI-on-steroids cross between Battleship (undersea creatures) and Transformers.

23 year old geekish art major who works part-time for me says it may the most anticipated film of the summer for he and his buddies.

...the trailers are compelling in a shamelessly cheesy CGI fest sorta way. No profundity here! I esp like the lead-in narration that goes something like this " We thought the end of humanity would come from outer space (show asteroid). We were wrong. It came from deep within the ocean..." Might even be avail in IMAX 3D format. Can't wait.
