  I agree. I had alot of fun with The Matrix and The 13th Floor and didn't even agonize over the "morality problem" (never looked for any depth to start with, so blowin' away a bunch of guards just flew right past me:-)) but Existenz was just a joke. The alternate reality theme was nver really developed - at least in The Matrix you could sort of get into the whole thing, but Existenz left me "unplugged" - Two thumbs down on Existenz - waaaayyyy down.

  When that happens I usually wait till they come to the discount theater,
  unless I am really interested in seeing the film immediately. If I read
  consistently bad reviews, I almost invariably wait. Will most likely wait

    You probably won't have to wait too long before it hits the discount theatre.. Frankly I'd pay more for the popcorn and goodies than the movie..
