I was surprised at how much I liked this "redneck Ocean's Eleven" offering from S. Soderbergh. Anyone else catch this film? I believe it's an Amazon production, and it flew in under my radar. Well cast, nicely acted. Some extremely funny scenes. Daniel Craig plays out of character-other than that he's a tough guy. It's not a flashy production, but the camera is always in the right place. It reminded me that I love Soderbergh's low key production style, even in big movies. Please let me know if anyone saw-and especially-if anyone liked this gem. Happy holidays to ya-all.
There's usually some big fun to be had in a Soderbergh film and there was some here.
Must say though the Coen's would have done it better IMO.
Craig was great (remember pre-Bond Road to Perdition?) and Swank does a spot on Clint Eastwood.
Good performances all around.
And there are ALWAYS a lot of great bass lines in a Soderbergh film.

I just could not get into it. I felt like my time had been robbed. Seemed this was a vehicle for Craig to bust out of his Bond persona but was too over-the-top to be taken seriously. Okay, nothing serious about it, but . .

Excellent film. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
Both my wife and I liked it very much. One of those unfortunate films that gets lost in the noise around all of the big-event releases.
