I hear that the Toshiba 3109 is HDCD? I think it's also the model that includes a DD decoder, but does it still come with a digital out (coax or toslink) so that i can use my DD processor? I'm thinking of this model over the 2109 because the 2109 does not support HDCD but the 3109 does, according to www.hdcd.com

There is now info on the 3109 on Toshiba's web site. Yes the 3109 decodes HDCD and has a digital out (both coax and optical). Question though, if you use the digital out to an external DD processor will you get the HDCD decoding? I am not sure you will unless your decoder is HDCD compatable, omething to think about. By the way I am also thinking about the 3109, but I have also seen some mentions of a 5109 and 7109, does anyone know anything about these (ie. when will they be out, what will they cost, what features do they have over and above the 3109)?
